GoSolar is based out of Decorah, Iowa and travels throughout the tri-state area installing wind and photovoltaic systems.  Owner Dennis Pottratz is certified by NABCEP, the national certification organisation for professional installers in the field of renewable energy.  Being NABCEP certified offers the public a high degree of protection because practitioners have to meet specific standards, qualifications and pass a exam. 

We have been installing systems since 1996, and have over 100 working systems to date.  We  install and design both commercial and residential systems  of various sizes both off-grid, and grid tie.  From the small retreat cabin to a large library, we do it all, designing a system to suit your energy needs.  For grid tie costumers, we can work with the utility company to get your system connected to the grid.  We can also help customers with the paperwork necessary to collect rebates to help pay for their system.
